நானும் நீயும்

உன்னை நான் எதிர்பார்க்கவில்லை --நீ

வருவாய் என்று அறிந்ததலோ

உன்னை நான் நிமிர்ந்து பார்க்கவில்லை நீ

என்னையே பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருப்பதலோ

உன்னை நான் வேறு என்று நினைக்கவில்லை நீ

என்னையே உனதாக நினைப்பதாலோ

நம்மை நாம் நினைக்கத் தேவையில்லை -நமக்குள்

வாழும்  அன்பினை  நினைவில் கொண்டால்

 Did not look at you because  I knew
 you had been looking at me only
 Did not think you were someone else
 when you thought  I was yours
we need  not think of ourselves when
we  remember the God in ourselves
